Japanese Shōwa era vessel made from a single section of hollowed natural bamboo.

Originally designed for traditional ikebana arrangements. Features an architectural form with pronounced segments and a dark, ebonised striped lacquer finish.

Fitted with a copper internal liner for holding water, which extends halfway down the vessel.

Condition - Age related chips and scratches to the lacquer and patina to the copper insert.
